Located between Prato and Florence on fairly flat terrain, this course opened in 1986 and was designed by Arnold Palmer. Large greens and bunkers with traditional US style wide open fairways seem easy to negotiate except for the many water hazards that are sprinkled across the course. The neo classical clubhouse has undergone an extensive restoration programme having been constructed in 1823 under commission of the Grand Duke of Tuscany Leopold 11.
