Golf Course - British Columbia - Bear Mountian Resort - Vancouver Island

This 1000 acre resort, Canada's only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf, is a mecca for anybody who idolises golf. Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve are the co-designed the Mountain course at a cost of approx $1 million a hole and they haven't let anybody down in terms of using the existing topography and setting an extremely good challenge for all standard of golfers. The newer Valley Course ,as is its sister course, one to be remembered, with both offering amazing views of British Columbia's breathtaking landscape

Look out for the uphill par 5 fourteenth which leads to the surprise at the top - a hole that isn't part of the course - a short par 3 gambling hole which Jack insisted was built because of the stunning views it affords over the capital Victoria, the Olympic Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
